Haarmeyer 2022 St. Rey Zinfandel from the oragnically farmed Cherryhouse Vineyard was picked early and showcases Lodi's ability to produce fresh acid driven Zinfandel. At 10.51% alchohol, the wine expresses a gentle tea-like quality yet still holds emblematic Zinfandel features like Rainier Cherry and freshly cracked black pepper. Foot trodden in one ton fermenters with no corrections to chemistry, St. Rey paints a softer lighter side to Lodi Zinfandel.
