This three-pack highlights the Lodi Appellation’s three most eastern sub-AVAs:
Borden Ranch AVA – Known for its prairie mound environment and volcanic mud, cobble and stony clay loams, Borden Ranch is home 12,000 acres of planted winegrapes.
Clements Hills AVA – With 21,700 acres of planted winegrapes, Clements Hills is Lodi’s second largest sub-AVA and is known for its rolling and rounded hillside and natural woodland environment.
Sloughhouse AVA – Known for its old, low vigor reddish sand, gravely loam and river rock terraces, Sloughhouse AVA is home to 8,000 acres of planted winegrapes.
