2022 Sabelli Frisch Lanterna Flame Tokay
Winemaking
A skin-contact rosé wine. A little lighter than the 2021 vintage, but still with those unmistakable apple and tapenade notes. This new vineyard also has a slight blood orange note emerging, which the winery is very excited about.
Not cold stabilized, so expect some slight crystals at the bottom when chilled hard.
Blodgett Vineyard
This was the first year the winery took the fruit from the small Blodgett Vineyard, which we now also farm ourselves using organic principles. The vines are not quite as old as the previous Chandler vineyard, but still closing in on 100 years ( planted in 1926). They have great hopes for this vineyard and are excited to be controlling the farming ourselves moving forward.
