The Stampede Vineyard, estate owned & farmed by the Perlegos family, was originally planted on its own roots in the 1920's. The grapes were fermented using native yeasts & minimally handled until bottling after 11 months in neutral barrels. Their darkest, most brooding effort to date but light & svelte on its feet at 13.9% alc. Dark cherries, blueberries raspberries, wild herbs with firm structure and a long, zesty finish.
