Good vibrations at the upcoming 2013 Lodi ZinFest
It may be all about the luscious, juicy Zinfandel and plethora of fun, contemporary, alternative style wines at the 2013 Lodi ZinFest. But it’s also about the truly good vibrations — great wine lovin’ folks like you and me, groovin’ under the giant willows and oaks of Lodi Lake Park, plus the music… always, there must be good-time music at Lodi’s annual ZinFest, taking place this coming May 18, 2013.
Here’s what will be going down on that Saturday in the Park…
PIANO BAR BY THE LAKE
2-5 PM – The ZinFest Piano Bar
Back by popular demand! Wine lovers can stop and put up their feet while sipping, singing or even dancing along to the engaging piano and vocals of Joe Spraker.
Snap Jackson & the Knock on Wood Players is a whippersnapping acoustic trio hailing from Stockton, California. These three amiable gents blend Americana, bluegrass, soul, and good ol’ time music in their own irresistibly fresh, energetic fashion – guaranteed to raise a smile and get your feet a’tappin’ as they stroll through the Lodi Lake Park, adding to your ZinFest experience.
THE MAIN STAGE
12:30-1:30 PM – Joe Spraker
Pianist Joe Spraker always gets you sippin’ and singin’ with a little rock, a little country, and some nifty piano work, adding up to an all-around great time.
2-3 PM – LONG TIME (The BOSTON Experience)
The cascading guitars, the soaring vocals, “It’s More Than a Feeling”… LONG TIME is a BOSTON Tribute Band extraordinaire, and you’re sure to get the fuzzies when they hit the stage and all those memorable notes.
3:30–4:30 PM – The Ben Kolber Project
The Ben Kolber Project (led by Lodi native/winegrape grower Ben Kolber) is a seamless blend of exotic rhythms, breezy jazz and driving guitar, sure to drive your Delta blues away.
