A Downtown Holiday Wine Walk

Oh come, oh come all ye wine lovers to Downtown Lodi, bring along your holiday guests while they’re still around, and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with us at the Downtown Lodi Wine Walk!

Says Roger Nicholas, winemaker and director of Grand Amis Winery, “it’s a great idea to bring your Thanksgiving holiday guests while they’re still around, pick up some wine for yourself and Christmas gift boxes for your ‘great friends.'”

The lowdown:

When: Saturday, December 4, 12-5 PM

Where: Lodi’s five winery tasting rooms (besides Grands Amis Winery, including Dancing Fox Winery & Bakery, CellarDoor (offering the wines of Jessie’s Grove, Van Ruiten, and Michael-David), Jeremy Wine Company, and Lodi Wine Cellars (pouring Benson Ferry, Heritage Oak, McCay, and Vicarmont)

Why: While enjoying your December stroll, snack and sip at least three wines at each tasting room for a chance to win a Winemakers’ Bushel (15 bottles) of wine!

How: Pick up a passport at any tasting room for $15/person (or $25/couple).  Sip and have card validated at each location.  Leave your completed passport card at the last tasting room for the Winemakers’ Bushel drawing.

Downtown Lodi dining: Purchase a bottle and take it to any one of Downtown Lodi’s restaurants, and they will uncork your wine for free!  These fabulous dining destinations include the fresh and innovative Crush Kitchen+Bar, the “locals’ favorite” School St. Bistro, the exotic Saigon Grill or the posh yet ultra-comforting Rosewood Bar & Grill (reservations always suggested).
