Spenker Winery crafts exclusively Certified Green, estate grown, premium wines. The 60 acre property has been in the family for over 100 years. The vines are grown in the traditional "head trained" style, and sustainable farming practices are used to help ensure a healthy property and premium product. The wine program was founded in 1994, on the belief that this land is capable of producing exemplary quality fruit.
The family members' various talents are combined in this family run business. Owners, Chuck and Bettyann met at a home wine-making party and fell in love, uniting the farmer and the scientist. Daughters, Kate and Sarah, grew up helping Mom and Dad run the winery, doing everything from sloshing in the mud to explaining the finer points of wine-making to customers. After college, they returned to the family business bringing their own artistic interests to wine presentation and customer relations.
