Vino Con Brio is a boutique winery owned and operated by the Matson Family in Lodi, California. Mike, Renae and Anne Matson are proud to bring you the fruits of their labor – eclectic wines with vibrant and complex character. They produce artesian wine from Lodi Rules sustainably-grown estate fruit well suited to Lodi’s Mediterranean climate.
The Matsons purchased their first vineyard in 1978. In 1999, the family bonded their winery called Vino Con Brio, meaning “Wine with Passion” in Italian. Their winemaker, Paul Wofford, has over three decades of winemaking experience and enjoys crafting fruit driven wines true to their varietal character.
Vino Con Brio has a beautiful, expansive tasting room in Lodi, nestled in back of their Amorosa Vineyard. With a tasting menu featuring over ten unique wines, there is surely something for everyone! Try their famous Pinotage, Brillante White Wine, Passione Rosè, or Matzin Old Vine Zinfandel to name a few. The location is also home to their bed and breakfast, Amorosa Inn and Gardens, as well as their gardens, pond, picnic area and event center. Whether you have an hour, or a weekend, it is lovely place to experience the best of Lodi.
