Our two families united in 2006 solely focused on creating Panthos – a limited-production Rhône-style blend from the best vineyards of Lodi.
Headed by Nick Sikeotis and Jon Bjork, Pantheon Cellars, by design, has no ownership ties to any vineyards, freeing us to seek out the best sites and clones for our red blend.
We firmly believe that Lodi’s warm Mediterranean climate is perfectly suited to expressing the penultimate qualities of Rhône varietals, such as Petite Sirah, Syrah and Mourvèdre, and we have only begun to discover the special hidden microclimates and unique terroirs within the larger Lodi AVA.
Nick brings over ten years of wine industry experience as a founder and president of Estate Crush, Jessie’s Grove Winery and manager of Borra Vineyards and Lodi Irrigation, a crucial supplier to most top-quality vineyards in Northern California. His management and expert financial skills were honed at Washington Mutual Bank.
With a degree in Neurobiology from U.C. Berkeley, Jon draws on over 25 years of winery and high-tech manufacturing management experience. In 2002, Jon left software producer Dantz Development to pursue his passion for wine at Jessie’s Grove Winery as general manager before becoming a wine writer and consultant to Lodi wineries.
