Vintner’s Grille at the Lake

Friday, May 18th, 2012 | 6-9pm

Join the passionate vintners and growers of the Lodi Appellation as they extend hometown hospitality and engage guests in an evening of colorful festivities. If you’ve never attended this evening event, you are definitely missing out!  Picture yourself beside the lake—Lodi’s famous Delta breeze cooling your skin—schmoozing with winemakers and growers over delectable hand-passed appetizers; a glass of Lodi’s finest vino in your hand.  Imagine yourself sitting down to a beautifully laid out table and savoring a catered, gourmet dinner followed by a trip to the dessert bar where chocolates, custards, berries and cakes mix and mingle with the richness of Lodi’s port-style wines.  Finish off your night by kicking up your heels to a live band underneath the twinkle of the night sky.

Tickets are $85 per person and are available by advance purchase only by calling the Lodi Wine & Visitor Center at (209) 365-0621. Tickets are going fast; this event will sell out so purchase yours today!

Wine reception begins at 6pm. Dinner begins at 7pm.

Must be 21 years of age to attend.

Introducing our inaugural amphitheater “Music in the Vineyard” concert series for 2012 featuring evenings with various singer/songwriters.  Please join us on May 18 as we are dazzled by the musical stylings of Mindy Smith.  We invite you to enjoy the fresh air, fine wine, and a pre-show seasonal, simple, and delicious dinner in the amphitheater.  Dinner and wine tasting will begin at 6:30 p.m.; the Show at 8:15 p.m.

Tickets are $55.oo per person (Dinner, Glass of wine, Dessert and Show); $35.00 per person (Glass of wine, Dessert and Show Only)

Join us at Woodbridge Uncorked on Friday, May 18!  Bill Russell will be entertaining us with his acoustic rhthyms from 7 pm to 10 pm. 

David Yee leads our monthly Bird Walks for all levels of nature lovers. Birders should plan to arrive at the Heritage Oak parking lot by 9:30 AM.  The walk will last approximately four hours. 

 The cost is $20 per person.  An optional lunch, served with wine, is available for another $10. Contact David at 209 329-5490 or email him at birdmanyee@gmail.com. Children are welcome.  Sturdy walking shoes recommended. Binoculars and field guides are also helpful. Dress appropriately for the weather.

Join us for our monthly wine appreciation class. Conducted by G.M. “Pooch” Pucilowski, chief Judge for the California State Fair Wine Competition, each class is unique and promises to offer both fun and education to wine enthusisasts of ALL levels, and a chance to sip some truly delicious wines from the Lodi’s finest wineries!
